I ask myself: Have I spent time discovering and naming the beliefs and principles that have shaped my life? Are these beliefs I truly prize and cherish? In what ways do I do that? Did I choose them freely or "inherit" them from my parents or peer group? Am I willing to publicly affirm my beliefs? How have I done that? Do I find those beliefs within the Unitarian Universalist 7 principles? Am I consistent in acting on my Principles and in what ways?
