Reverend Donna Smith, As a Unity Worldwide Ministry Spiritual Leader, my ministerial training was focused on pastoral care.  My heart is most joyful when I can help others find peace and joy in their lives. I am also a Unity Chaplain, a Taize Prayer leader and trainer, a Reiki practitioner, a Non-Violent Communication teacher, a student and teacher of A Course in Miracles, and student and teacher of The Way of Mastery.  I have been active in pastoral care since 2001. From 2009 to 2013, I was the Spiritual Leader for Unity of Roseburg in Roseburg, Oregon. I now do guest speaking regularly at the Umpqua Unitarian Universalist Church (UUUC) and Unity of Roseburg. I offer Compassionate Services and teach A Course in Miracles at the UUUC and am active in their Cares & Concerns Ministry.  Before pursuing ministry, my profession was as a Certified Public Accountant and I operated my own business for many years. I have retired from that profession, although I do the accounting for Abacela Winery in Roseburg on a part-time basis.
One of my passions is traveling to see the beauty that Mother Earth offers.  Travel also provides the opportunity to meet people and learn about the diverse cultures that bless our world.  Oregon is my home and it is always a joy to return to this beautiful part of the world.

Lillene Fifield was born in Los Angeles, raised in Kansas City, Missouri and returned to LA to spend most of her adult life. Upon knowing with absolute certainty as a teenager that she would be living her life as a Lesbian, Lillene left K.C. choosing to live a life of her creation with the freedom to be all she could be. She tells us she is grateful for her mid-western roots and values.
Lillene’s major life motivating force has been about freedom, justice, equality and fairness. Seasoned by sit-ins and the integration of her high school in the Fifties, the boycott lettuce and grapes campaigns of the early Sixties, and the anti Vietnam war efforts of the latter Sixties, Lillene naturally turned her tireless efforts to the Gay and Lesbian Liberation movement and the Feminist movement of the Seventies and Eighties. In 1971 after proclaiming aloud that she had a right to her space on this planet, she helped found and build the Los Angeles Gay and Lesbian Center (today the largest in the world).
Utilizing her skills as a Psychotherapist, she also worked tirelessly to change and build a new model of therapy that enhanced the life of Lesbians and Gay Men and removed homosexuality from the mental health arena as a disorder or sickness. Upon retirement,  she has been honored for this achievement.
Lillene joined Who’s Who in Women in 1983 as one of the earliest acknowledged lesbians and received numerous other awards throughout her life.  In September 2019, she was honored at the 50
th Birthday of the LA GLBT Center. She also designed and built a home in Flournoy Valley. Upon returning to Roseburg in 2007, Lillene again quickly became active in her chosen hometown. She loves reading, movies, travel throughout the world, hanging out with friends and her Unitarian Church home. UUU is her first church membership.
